Beverly Ann Rupert

Beverly Ann Rupert, age 78, 6785 Jefferson St., Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge), died at her home at 9:15 a. m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She had been in failing health since January.

Born in Danville on May 15, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Freda (Erlston) Ritter.  She was a 1957 graduate of Danville High School.

Beverly was employed by Milco Industries, Inc., Bloomsburg, as a seamstress for over 25 years.

She was a longtime member of the Lime Ridge United Methodist Church.

Beverly is a former member of the Central Columbia High School Band Boosters. She loved to travel, especially Disney World, spending time with her family and spotting deer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ritter on Sept, 22, 1996.

Beverly is survived by her husband, LaRue G. Rupert and together they observed 59 years of marriage on June 29, 2016; a daughter, Barbara A. Rupert, at home; and two sisters: Ettamae, wife of Jack Edwards, Bloomsburg and Dorothy, wife of Frank Baylor, Danville.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in the Lime Ridge United Methodist, Church, 6405 Fourth Street, Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge) with her pastor, Vince Kiester and her former  pastor Eileen M. Chapman officiating. Interment in the Church cemetery. Viewing at the Church on Thursday from 6-8 p. m.
