Beverly Dawn Cromley

Beverly Dawn Cromley, age 85, formerly of Colonial Avenue, Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2017 at St. John's Nursing Home, Rochester, New York where she was a guest for two and a half years.

Born in Bloomsburg on June 18, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Agnes (Krum) Eveland. She spent her entire life in Bloomsburg prior entering St. John's and was a 1950 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Beverly was employed by the former Magee Carpet, Co. for many years as an executive secretary

 She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg.

Beverly was an enthusiastic, skilled seamstress and loved crafting. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Cromley, on January 5, 2013.

Beverly is survived by her sister, Marie A. (wife of Ronald) Sitler, Perry, New York; two nieces: Rebecca, wife of Todd Draper, N. Chili, New York and Rachel, wife of Christopher Plaisted, Long Beach, California; three great-nieces: Emma Draper, Alison Draper and Katherine Draper; and a great-nephew, Nathan Plaisted.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Dr. Gary D. Weaver officiating. Interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Calling hour is from 1-2 p. m. Saturday
