Betty M. Zeisloft

Betty M. (Diehl) Zeisloft, age 95, formerly of Red Mill Road, Bloomsburg, died at 7:20 a. m. Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Nottingham Village Nursing Center in Northumberland.

Born in Danville on January 31, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Marion (Shultz) Diehl. She was a 1944 graduate of Danville High School.

Betty was employed by the former Magee Carpet Co., Bloomsburg for 25 years, retiring on September 5, 1977.

She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Buckhorn.

Betty enjoyed dancing and attending the Bloomsburg Fair. She was also fond of horses and ponies. She especially enjoyed attending the Catawissa Senior Center and participating in the activities.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leidy J. Zeisloft, on August 26, 1989 and by five siblings.

Betty is survived by her sister, Frances Campbell of Danville and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend graveside services on Wednesday at 2 p. m. in New Rosemont Cemetery, Old Berwick Road, Espy, with the Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
