Betty L. Fenstemaker

Betty L. (Diltz) Fenstemaker, age 88, of Bloomsburg, died at 7:35 p. m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Signature Health Care At Bloomsburg facility where she resided since April, 2016.

Born in South Centre Township on July 20, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Alvin F. and Myrtle E. (Benjamin) Diltz. 

Betty resided in Almedia for many years before moving to the Franklin Place Apartments in Bloomsburg in 2011.

She was a member of the Berwick Bible Church.   Reading the Bible was a daily part of her life. She enjoyed playing the piano, cooking,  reading Amish books and visiting her friends and family.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband,  Doyle L. "Ike" Fenstemaker, on April 28, 2006 and by two brothers:  Doyle A. Diltz and Sheldon E. Diltz.

Surviving are a a brother, Ronald R. Diltz, and his wife Camille, Millville;  a sister Margery, wife of Byron Mensinger, Bloomsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Ronald M. Beach of the Berwick Bible Church officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
