Barbara J. (LeVan) Brosius

Barbara J. (LeVan) Brosius, age 93, of Continental Blvd., Danville, passed away on Thursday September 17, 2026 at the Emmanuel Center For Nursing in Danville.

Born on August 4, 1933 in Delaware Township, Northumberland County, she was the daughter of Herman C. and Helen E. (Auche) LeVan. She was a 1951 graduate of Milton High School. She spent most of her life in the Danville area.

Barbara served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War era. She worked in communications at the Pentagon and several other bases.

She last worked for the former Del Monte Foods in Bloomsburg.

Barbara was a member of the American Legion Post 40 in Danville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Brosius, Sr., and a son, Paul M. Brosius, Jr.

Surviving is her son, Lee C. Brosius, of Danville.

Graveside services will be held on Monday September 21, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Mahoning Township, with military honors preformed by the U.S. Air Force and American Legion Post 40 honor guard. Rev. Gordon E. Smith, of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, will officiate. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville.
