Apolinario Valentin Rodriguez

Apolinario Valentin Rodriguez, age 75, of Bloomsburg and formerly Puerto Rico, died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at home surrounded by family.

Born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico on January 5, 1949, he was the son of Emilio Valentin and Angelina Rodriguez. He moved to Bloomsburg from Puerto Rico three years ago.  

He was preceded in death by one son, Jose Antonio Valentin Cortes.

Apolinario is survived by his wife, Carmen L. Cortes; four children: Hector Luis Valentin Cortes, of Puerto Rico, Betzaida Valentin Cortes, Juan Carlos Valentin Cortes, and Alberto Valentin Cortes, all of Bloomsburg; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and eleven siblings, who all reside in Puerto Rico. 

Viewing will be held on Friday February 23, 2024 from 3-5 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
