Ann Karshick

Ann Karshick, age 94, Bloomsburg, died at 6 m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at her home after being in failing health for the past month.

Born in Slovakia on October 26, 1922, she was a daughter of the late John and Judy (Jas'ova) Mahalik. She resided in Bloomsburg since 1987 and formerly lived in Bohemia, Long Island, NY for 35 years.

Ann was a member of the Mifflinville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She loved to cook, bake and do gardening. She especially liked her jewelry and friends thought of her as a classy lady. She was loved by her friends and always had a smile on her face.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles F. Karshick on Nov. 29, 1988 and also by two brothers and two sisters.

Ann is survived by two sons: Louis C. Karshick, and his wife Deborah, Patchoge, L.I., N.Y. and Randy Karshick, and his wife Deborah, Bloomsburg; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

Memorial services will be held at a time to be announced.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Bohemian Union Cemetery, Bohemia, L.I., NY
