Angelika "Angel" J. Townsend

Angelika “Angel” J. Townsend, age 78, of Bloomsburg and formerly Texas, died on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Berlin Germany on July 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Johannes and Betty (Spielman) Dobbert.  Angelika resided in Bloomsburg since 2006 and previously resided in Allen, Texas for 18 years.

Angel worked at Walmart in Texas for 13 years and formerly cleaned for residential housing. Her favorite hobby was making soap.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Yengo, on June 23, 1996.

Angel is survived by her son, James P. Yengo, of Catawissa; a stepdaughter, Geraldine, wife of John Wozniak, Manchester, N.J., a stepson William Yengo, Egg Harbor Twp., N.J.,  four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rose, wife of Anthony Walsh, of St. Louis, MO.

At Angel’s request there will be no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
