Dorothy M. "Dolly" Wroblewski

August 1, 1924 ~ September 26, 2018 (age 94)

Dorothy M. "Dolly" Wroblewski, age 94, of 8 Grotto Drive, Danville, died at 5:40 a. m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville where she was a patient.

Born in West Hazleton on Aug. 1, 1924, she was a daughter of the late  John and Mary (Romanick) Wroblewski.  She resided at the Meadows at Maria Joseph Manor in Danville since 2006 and previously lived in West Hazleton.

Dolly received a . M. S. Degree from Temple University, Philadelphia and was employed at the former Hazleton State General Hospital as a Registered Nurse and served as  a nursing supervisor  for many years prior to retiring.

A lifelong Catholic, she was a member of the former Transfiguration Catholic Church  (now Holy Name of Jesus Parish), West Hazleton.

Dolly was preceded in death by two brothers: Ed Robey and Leon Robey.

She is survived by a brother, Clarence Wroblewski, and his wife Frances, Baltimore, Md.; by two sisters-in-law: Betty Robey and Toni Robey; a niece, Amy Montminy; and six nephews: Paul Robey; Matt Robey; John Robey; John Wroblewski; Vincent Wroblewski and Michael Wroblewski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 10 a. m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church 18 Center Street, Danville, by her pastor, Rev. James E. Lease. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Transfiguration Cemetery, West Hazleton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
