Ada Margaret Hoffman, age 98, formerly of Central Ave., Carroll Park, Bloomsburg, died at 6:25 p. m. Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Emmanuel Center For Nursing, Danville, where she resided for almost five years.
Born in Danville on October 3, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Lafayette S. and Hester (Moser) Foust. She was a 1936 graduate of Danville High School and resided in Bloomsburg since 1939.
Margaret was employed at the former US Radium Corp., plant in Almedia for many years.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas J. Hoffman on August 25, 1995; by a grandson, Brian Boudman in 1986; by two sisters: Florence Appleman and Betty Mae Foust; and a brother Robert S. Foust.
Surviving are a daughter, Lynette L. Boudman, Bechtelsville; a son, Timothy J. Hoffman, Sr., and his wife MarySue, Huntington Valley; three grandchildren: Timothy J. Hoffman, Jr., and his wife Tammy; Anthony R. Hoffman, and his wife Stacy; Edward Thomas Boudman, and his wife Jamie; four great-grandchildren; a sister: Alma, wife of Gordon Earnest, II, Danville; and two brothers: Earl Foust, and his wife Margaret, Danville and Kenneth Foust, and his wife Joan, Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Dr. Gary D. Weaver, officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Friends may call on Thursday from 1-2 p. m.
